The members of the Sooke Bed and Breakfast Association welcome you to our home, “where the rainforest meets the sea,” in beautiful Sooke, B.C.

Surrounded by miles of meandering rainforest trails and pristine beaches,
with breathtaking vistas of Sooke Harbour, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the snow-capped Olympic Mountains in Washington State, the Sooke Region –  which includes the coastal communities of East Sooke, the town of Sooke, and west to Otter Point, Shirley, Jordan River and Port Renfrew —   is the premier year-round outdoor tourism destination on Southern Vancouver Island.

The city isn’t far, and the countryside is even closer …

We live in a friendly small community that’s close to a vibrant small city …
To the east, the bright lights of Victoria beckon, to the west you’ll discover a vast rainforest and oceanfront playground.   Stay in our comfortable accommodations and plan a day trip to visit Victoria and all the wonderful cultural attractions of British Columbia’s provincial capital.

Sooke’s diversity offers something to interest everyone …

You can enjoy Sooke’s sun, sea and scenery, whether you’re young or young at heart, and things to see and do which are as diverse as the landscape and its people. Offering activities both extreme and leisurely, from surfing and ziplining to beach strolls and birdwatching, Sooke offers exceptional recreation in an unspoiled wilderness setting.

Getting here is half the fun!

Whether travelling by land, air or sea, getting to Sooke is easy.   The big city of Vancouver is 1.5 hours away by an amazingly picturesque trip on B.C. Ferries through the Southern Gulf Islands to Swartz Bay.   Seattle is four and a half hours away by sea, and there’s also convenient and frequent car ferry service from Annacortes and Port Angeles in Washington State to Vancouver Island.

Experience the scenic thrill of a floatplane trip to downtown Victoria, and the convenience of harbour to harbour travel. You can arrange to have a rental car waiting for you at the dock. There’s excellent public transit service between Victoria and Sooke, and buses have bike racks to accommodate travelling cyclists.  Or “go green” and bike the Galloping Goose Trail as it winds through forest and field for 60 kilometers from Victoria to Sooke (read a description of travelling the Goose on our Activities Page).

Fly directly in to Victoria International Airport from many cities in North America, rent a car, and you can drive to Sooke in just one hour. However you get here, we know you’ll find the beauty and tranquility of the Sooke Region well worth the trip.

Sooke offers an exciting choice of urban and rural accommodations:
